The nature of the service

The site offers one-to-one iTS mentoring in Hungarian and English, online or in person.

Professional boundary

iTS mentoring does not diagnose or treat illness, and therefore does not replace medical, psychological or psychiatric care. In an acute crisis, or with symptoms that require treatment, specialist medical, psychological or psychiatric help is needed.

Confidentiality

Mentoring is not a regulated profession in Hungary, so it is not subject to the same statutory duty of confidentiality as, for example, psychology or medicine. Regardless of this, I treat what is said in our conversations as confidential: I do not pass it on to third parties, except where you explicitly consent or where the law requires it. This is a personal undertaking, not a statutory obligation.

I have not subscribed to any code of conduct.

Complaints and conciliation bodies

Péter Orsolya Anna, sole trader, the operator of the website (the “Provider”), handles consumer complaints as follows.

Complaints

You can submit a complaint to the Provider orally or in writing. You can send a written complaint as follows:

The Provider examines an oral complaint immediately and remedies it where necessary. If you disagree with how the complaint is handled, or it cannot be examined immediately, the Provider takes a written record (jegyzőkönyv) of the complaint and of its position without delay. For a complaint made in person, it hands you a copy of the record on the spot.

The Provider answers a written complaint in writing, on the merits, within 30 days of receipt, and gives reasons for any rejection. The Provider keeps the written record, the written complaint and a copy of its answer for 3 years.

If the Provider rejects your complaint, it informs you in writing which authority or conciliation body you can turn to, depending on the nature of the complaint. You can also go to court. The Provider has not made a general declaration of submission to the conciliation body's decisions.

Consumer protection authority

As a consumer, you can turn to the consumer protection department of the government office (kormányhivatal) with jurisdiction over your place of residence or stay. Contact details are available at <a href='https://fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu</a>.

The authority with jurisdiction over the Provider’s registered office is the Government Office of the Capital City Budapest, Consumer Protection Department (<a href='mailto:fogyved_kmf_budapest@bfkh.gov.hu'>fogyved_kmf_budapest@bfkh.gov.hu</a>).

Conciliation bodies

In a consumer dispute you may turn to the conciliation body (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence or stay in Hungary, or name another conciliation body in your request. If you have no place of residence or stay in Hungary, the conciliation body competent for the Provider's registered office (Budapesti Békéltető Testület) is competent. The Provider is obliged to cooperate in the conciliation procedure.
